1.

I really like to play with words (not that I'm good with it) so I decided to use a playful, mashed up name for my product. Like Leggage (your personal leg luggage) or Legster (the ultimate leg "rester") or Feeture (the latest office feature) or LegIn (already trademarked) or Offifeet (hard to pronounce) or Legolax (for The Lord of the rings fans). At the end Tranquilex sounded the most convincing. So from now on the name of my artifact that provides comfort and rest for the tired legs of office workers from all around the world, shall be: TRANQUILEG.

2.

This is the overview of the beta prototype of the Tranquileg placed under my kitchen table

...and it's comfortable as it should be

The fabric supports very gently my feet, it's washable and it has style.

Detail 1. - Buttonholes for adjustment. Thanks to the them, the length of the fabric can be adjusted by replacing the spring-hook in different holes.

Detail 2. - Adjustable end of the Tranquileg. The leg-support will be hanged under the table with a spring-hook at the adjustable end and a wooden ring on the other end.

Detail 3. - Fixed end of the Tranquileg. The wooden ring could be replaced with a spring-hook at this side too for more mobility.

3.

My gap was about a solution for office workers to rest their legs in while sitting, that saves the back, lower back and legs. This product provides leg-support, it's small and portable, fits right under the office table, it can be removed easily, it can be assembled without tools, offers ergonomic support and comfort for the legs, it's washable, it can be used with all kind of shoes, it's stylish and it's adjustable.

4.

The Tranquileg is portable so a small pocket will be added to one side of the fabric in which the whole product can be folded in.

5.

I decided to make this product because of my best friend, who was diagnosed with thrombosis in their late 20's because of all the sitting she does all day long, every day. I thought this was a wake up call for me (and for all the office workers all around the world) to be more careful how we sit and how we spend our office hours. The idea of using fabric as support came from carrying my baby in a woven wrap. It's safe, comfortable and simple.
